Who We Are

HealthShareNerd is an independent comparison and research platform dedicated to making health care sharing ministries easy to understand and compare. We're not affiliated with any health sharing program — we're just nerds who obsess over data so you don't have to.

Why We Built This

Health sharing is confusing. Every program has different rules, costs, coverage limits, and religious requirements. When we tried to compare programs ourselves, we found scattered information, biased reviews, and outdated data across dozens of websites.

So we built what we wished existed: one place to compare all 12 major health sharing programs with real data, honest reviews, and side-by-side comparisons.

Our Commitment to Objectivity

We strive to be accurate, transparent, and unbiased. Here's how:

• Independent research — We verify data directly from program websites, member guides, and official sources. Every data point is documented and dated.
• No favorites — We don't rank programs based on which pays us more. Our composite scores are based on objective criteria: cost, coverage, network access, member reviews, and operational transparency.
• Affiliate disclosure — We earn affiliate commissions when you sign up for a program through our links. This helps us keep the site free and up-to-date. However, we feature all programs regardless of affiliate status, and programs cannot pay to change their rankings or reviews.
• Regular updates — Health sharing programs change their pricing, coverage, and policies frequently. We update our data monthly and show "Last verified" dates on all reviews.
• Honest about limitations — Health sharing is not insurance. It doesn't work for everyone. We're upfront about the risks, exclusions, and legal differences between sharing and insurance.
